DANNY CADAMARTERI: Ex-Blues striker joined ‘The Gwladys Beat’ podcast to talk all things EFC
Danny Cadamarteri burst onto the scene in October 1997 with the goal of his career that sealed a 2-0 win over neighbours Liverpool and earned him a place in Everton history.
He would go on to play over 100 times for the club before leaving Goodison Park in 2002 to join Bradford City.
During his time with the Toffees, 'Caddy' shared the dressing room with the likes of Duncan Ferguson, Paul Gascoigne, David Ginola and World Cup winner Marco Materazzi.
Having made his debut as a substitute against Chelsea at the age of 18, Danny spent six years with Everton and experienced the highs and lows of being a young professional footballer who suddenly is thrust into the spotlight.
He joined Nick, Callum and Dawn from 'The Gwladys Beat' podcast to talk through his time at the club, and what he has done since he finished his career.
