NEWS ROUNDUP: Councillor forced to leave party & double tipi bar in Gateshead

Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool look to win their first game at Anfield THIS YEAR when they host Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds have lost their last six Premier League games at home with their last win coming against Tottenham in December.

Huddersfield Town were the last team to lose seven home games in a row. The highest a team has finished in the league after losing six or more successive home games is ninth.

Yet Klopp's team are still well within the conversation for finishing in the top four despite their horrid home form.

Season defining week at Anfield

More defeats at home will end their season this week, however.

They face Aston Villa and Real Madrid in a short period of time and two defeats will likely end their season.

Villa smashed seven goals past Liverpool at Villa Park earlier this season. Surely Liverpool will want to get revenge for that 7-2 defeat.

No team has ever scored more than eight past Liverpool in the Premier League in one season.

Jack Grealish will be unavailable for Aston Villa when they face Liverpool at Anfield as he remains injured.

The Villa skipper will be a big miss for Dean Smith's side but it's a huge boost for the Reds.

Liverpool have won their last two meetings with Aston Villa at Anfield and will be hoping for their third.

These two go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon with kick-off at 3pm.
