GREAT GOALS: The best finishes of EURO 2020
There have been some brilliant goals scored at EURO 2020 in a tournament filled with excitement and drama.
An average of 2.79 goals per game were scored at this year's European Championships, with 142 goals recorded in 51 matches.
That works out at a goal scored every 32 minutes, with the vast majority of goals at EURO 2020 scored in the second half.
Of the 142 goals scored, 78 went in after the interval, with the period of 46-60 minutes seeing the most action (30).
52 were scored in the first half of games, including added time at the end of the period.
The tournament also saw five stoppage-time goals scored after the allotted 90 minutes were up.
A total of seven goals in extra time from the knockout games added to the tally, with the majority of them being scored in the first period of the added 30 minutes.
Italy and Spain were the top scorers in the tournament with 13 goals each. Spain's total goals were boosted by their 5-3 win over Croatia and a 5-0 hammering of Slovakia in their final group game.
Not surprisingly, both teams racked up the most attempts on goal too, with Italy recording 128 to Spain's 111.
Denmark were third in both charts, scoring 12 goals from 96 attempts. They were knocked out at the semi-final stage by England who scored 11 goals at EURO 2020.
Gareth Southgate's side were relatively clinical at the tournament, as they only had 64 total attempts on goal, which works out at a goal roughly every six shots.
Belgium rounded out the top five with nine total goals at the championships, as Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku bagged four for himself this summer.
With that many goals, it's hard to say which ones are the best. There's plenty of choice on offer.
UEFA chose Patrik Schick's long-range effort against Scotland as their goal of the tournament after he caught out goalkeeper David Marshall in one of Group D's games at Hampden Park.
Brilliant goals from Federico Chiesa, Andriy Yarmolenko and Luka Modric also get a mention in the video above.
